A truly repellent case of a man framed by a jealous colleague, who downloaded child pornography onto his computer and then told the police and the local newspaper.

For four years this poor man’s life has been made a misery by his vengeful neighbours. Even when the police decided to take no further action against him, and he was reinstated in his job, people still threatened him, spat at him and generally ostracized him.

We should not wonder that such a thing can happen: it does a lot. Moses devoted a whole commandment to it: “Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness”. The shocking thing is that, until the victim encountered a just judge who could pronounce in court to the real wrongdoer “It is difficult to imagine a more cunning, deceitful or warped course of conduct than yours in this case, or a more malicious one”, the innocent victim had to suffer the sentence of a thousand unjust judges, all unpaid volunteers (viz his neighbours), who were utterly and unforgivably corrupt because they refused to hear all the evidence.
